British Psychological Society Verified Training – Step 1 Ability Testing by Blended LearningFor those who want to take the British Psychological Society (BPS) qualification route, the first step is to complete our Test User Ability (TUA) course. This course includes coverage of the BPS Assistant Test User (ATU) qualification. Successful delegates are eligible to register their competence on the BPS Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU). This is a publicly accessible system enabling testers to publicise their BPS test credentials. The course includes training in the administration and use of tests of ability, aptitude and reasoning as used in the selection and development of people at work. Training is also given in providing oral and written feedback on the results of tests of ability. The course comprises a series of e-learning Units, including varied content such as text, graphics, and video elements, coupled with live tutorial sessions. The tutorials are conducted via Zoom/Teams either one-to-one or in small groups. Email and telephone support with the tutor is also included. In-person support meetings may be booked if required (see below for details) in central Manchester locations. British Psychological Society Verified Training – Step 2 Personality Assessment with Quintax by Blended LearningThe second step on the BPS qualification route involves completing our Test User Personality (TUP) course. As with TUA, successful delegates are eligible to register their TUP competence on the BPS Register (RQTU). The course includes two elements. The first is our Quintax Qualification Course which gives an in-depth treatment of the use and interpretation of the Quintax questionnaire. Delegates will be able to practise their interpretation and feedback skills during the course, and will be introduced to applications of Quintax in workshop activities, team development, leadership, career transition and more! The second part of the course covers the fundamentals of personality theory and assessment methods to provide a broad context to personality measurement. Both parts are required study for the BPS TUP qualification. As with TUA, the TUP course comprises a series of e-learning Units, including varied content such as text, graphics, and video elements, coupled with live tutorial sessions. British Psychological Society Verified Training – Quintax as an ‘Additional Instrument’ on RQTU by Blended LearningDelegates who are already BPS qualified and registered at TUP level on another personality questionnaire can take this route to enable them to register Quintax as an ‘additional instrument’ on the RQTU. This will enable them to gain independent use of our assessment website, so as to use Quintax across its full range of flexible applications. The course comprises a series of e-learning Units, including varied content such as text, graphics, and video elements, coupled with live tutorial sessions. The tutorials are conducted via Zoom/Teams either one-to-one or in small groups. Email and telephone support with the tutor is also included. In-person support meetings may be booked if required (see below for details) in central Manchester locations. The course leads to Quintax Authorised User status. In-person Support Sessions for BPS Training CoursesIn exceptional circumstances it may be helpful for delegates to have the option of in-person support or additional Zoom sessions to ensure successful progression through a course. These can be provided for delegates if desired. In-person support allows for some intensive 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 course work with our Chartered Psychologist trainers in central Manchester locations. Each 3 hour session allows coverage of up to two major practical exercises (e.g. Test Administration and Feedback in TUA, Quintax Interpretation and Feedback in TUP) or other topics based on agreed delegate preparation in advance. In-person support sessions complement our in-course tutorial support when needed, but they are not required for qualification. | £477 + VAT (includes venue costs) | Available NOW! Additional Zoom SessionsAs with in-person support, additional Zoom support sessions can be provided if desired in exceptional cases. Each 1½ hour session is based upon agreed delegate preparation in advance. NOTE: Both Step 1 and Step 2 courses include some pre-course and post-course work. In all the BPS verified courses, delegate assessment portfolios must be completed and submitted within 3 months of finishing the course.
